    Devonian fish finds

Looking for some experts on these attached images. These are just ones I can’t figure out. Scale in metric. I had a successful hunt at the end of 2023. Soon I’ll be adding a photo album of this and some of my other finds from various locations. Overall, I found Ageleodus pectinatus teeth, Hyneria lindae teeth and scales, Megalichthys mullisoni scales, Langlieria radiatus scales, Holoptychius sp. scale, acanthodian fish spine, Phyllolepis rossimontina armor, Turrisaspis elektor armor, and plant leaves and stems. EDIT: Location - Clinton County, PA.

    Holoptychius scales?

Hi everyone! I was just going over some of my Catskill fossils when I stumbled across this one, which appears to be two Holoptychius scales alongside lush plant material, especially on the other side (though you can see one stem to the right of the upper scale). The picture on the top is under normal light, the lower one with a bright light from the side to highlight some details. Could anyone help with ID?

    Holoptychius cf. flemingi scale

Last Saturday we made a little trip to the Ardennes in Belgium, although we didn’t find a lot , I found a really nice scale of a Holoptychius cf. flemingi. Most of it was covered in matrix, but I did get it out with a mechanical prep. as found: after the prep:
  10. Hello, These plates are from the Catskill Formation (Upper Devonian) of Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. I am not very familiar with Devonian fishes, so I have made my guesses based on abundant forms in the area / formation. I am hoping that some of the Devonian fish experts might be able to verify or otherwise identify them. The first composite photo are scales of what I am calling the lobe-fin Holoptychius sp. The second composite photo is armor of what I am tentatively calling Bothriolepis sp. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
