Hello, I found this interesting piece of sandstone last may on a dirt road close to my house 20 miles south of the fall line in Macon county, western Georgia, United States. On the sandstone appears to be an impression of some kind of Crustacean or insect. The area I’m in is supposed to be covered by the providence sand, which dates back to 70-67 mya during the late Cretaceous. There is also some Paleocene sediments around my area too so I’m not sure what age it is exactly. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hello! Just got back from a trip to a ranch in West Texas (Rocksprings, TX which is a few hours west of San Antonio). Found these while walking the ranch... Not found in a creek, but there is a dry creek a couple hundred yards from where I found them. Any help/insight on any of the pieces would be great! Let me know if you need any more information to help identify! (Didn't have anything to help measure the rocks, but they fit in one hand for reference and if I had to guess the estimated size... they're about the size of an American Football (hahaha).. Thanks in advance:)
