I was looking for rocks to paint, and almost painted this one before spotting the markings. What would leave these impressions? It was found at a ranch in Texas between Mountain Home and Junction, in Kerr County.

These were found along the Guadeloupe River in Texas. I picked up about six of them. Some help in identifying them would be appreciated.

Hi, I'm new to this forum and need help. I went arrowhead hunting along the Guadalupe River, Kerr County, Texas. Found a couple of unusual rocks, fossilized clams and some other things. Are these just plain old rocks or are they bones of some animal? The 20' high banks were carved out by flooding. There was lots of flint, got two hand axes, one hammer, three scrapers, broken points and lots of chert. Here's the pics of the two unusual rocks/bones. Help!
