Keichousaurus and "Dyrosaurus" skull.
ConnorR posted a topic in Is It Real? How to Recognize Fossil Fabrications
First up, I found several Keichousaurus fossils being sold. Amongst them all, I think this is the nicest one. Is it good or bad quality, and what would you pay for it? Second up is what appears to be a crocodylomorph skull from Morocco. The seller claims that it's a Dyrosaurus, but it's clearly not that. It looks nothing like Dyrosaurus, and it would be way too old. I know you can't say for certain just from photos, but how likely is it to be genuine? If it is, what genus do you think it belongs too?- 6 replies

This leaf has burnt a hole in my brain for years. Recently when I looked I found a paper which is either the same location this leaf is from, or a very similar one. https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s12303-017-0004-x It lists species found as: Equisetum sp. (rhizome) Sorbus sp. Ulmus sp. Fagus antipofi Heer Pterocarya sp. Alnus arasensis Huzioka Alnus sp. (infructescence) Populus sp. Salixsp. Decodon sp. Acer sp. cf. A. nordenskioeldi Nathorts Acer sp. cf. A. rotundatum Huzioka 3 Acer sp. (samara) “Alangium” aequalifolium (Goeppert) Kryshtofovich et Borsuk Fraxinus sp. Dicotylophyllum sp. Monocotylophyllum sp. Unfortunately even with this I am unable to match this leaf! Thanks for any help

I went to Pohang (city of korea) yesterday to hunting fossils. this formation is a miocene bed that called Duho formation. it is famous for nice quality leafs, fish, crab, and even shark tooth. So, i was arrived here with a big dream... Actually i hadn't found something interesting in first 1 hour,,,,,,,,, only some part of leafs, little wood parts, and small plants. Because i couldn't find something unique, i came down from outcrop and cracked another boulder stone. But luck comes at that time! I found 30% of fossils in this picture in that stone. and i even found..... PERFECT pair leaf and FISHHHHHH!!! it is really hard to found 'animal' in this formation, but omg! i did. this fossil trip was so nice... I hope i could visit Pohang before all fossil - producing areas( in pohang) are destroyed.
