Hello everyone.
Few weeks ago I was in Klaipeda district Western Lithuania and found these two fish fossils- scale is about 3 cm diameter, jaw fragment is 1.6 cm length.
I think these fossils belong to some species of rhizodont fish, but i am not sure if the species would be more Late Devonian or Carboniferous in age.
Please help me to identify the genera of these remains if it is possible, I need to know what the precise age this freshwater limestone boulder belongs to.
Best Regards
Domas
