The Paleontological Society of Austin TX leads field trips once a month (when there's no pandemic going on!). In February, we went to Lake Jacksboro in Jacksboro TX. I had been out there before and had a great time, finding whatever I could find, but going with the PSoA is great because of the wealth of knowledge of the members. Knowing ahead of time what to keep an eye out for makes all the difference between having a good day fossil hunting....and a great day! That and a little bit of luck! It's taken me a while to get everything photo'd and ID'd. So if anything is incorrectly ID'd, please let me know!
