This is being sold as a Lambeosaurus skin section from the Judith River Formation, Montana. Size of the skin section is 15 cm / 6 inch. I have strong doubts about this, it doesn't look like other Hadrosaur skin impressions or even like any other dinosaur skin impressions I've seen. In my opinion the 'patches' are way too irregular in shape and size compared to other examples. Don't know what it is, looks more like something with drought cracks to me. Any opinions on this?

Hello everyone! I recently acquired the attached fossil as a jaw fragment (with additional bone) of Lambeosaurus lambei. It's supposed to be from the Hell Creek Formation - at any rate, it was found between Jordan and Fort Peck Lake in Montana, and I have no reason to doubt this information. From what I understand, however, L. lambei is a little earlier than Hell Creek and the very existence of lambeosaurs in Hell Creek is a matter of some debate. I've now wondered if there's any obvious reason why this couldn't be a jaw fragment of Edmontosaurus annectens instead. As I'm a complete novice, your insights would be more than welcome. The jaw piece is 21.5 cm (about 8.5 in) long, the bone 26 cm (about 10.2 inch). Thank you very much! Nick

We all know that Magnapaulia was the biggest lambeosaurine hadrosaur that ever lived, but did you know that Kritosaurus means "broken lizard" due to the original specimen being found with broken nasal bones? Did you also know that the name Charonosaurus highlights the fact that it was found near a river by paying homage to the role of Charon in ferrying souls to the underworld along the Styx River? Also note that the name Hypacrosaurus means "under the top lizard" because Barnum Brown considered Hypacrosaurus to be almost the size of T. rex.

We all know the unrivalled culinary excellence of British cuisine but they have taken it to a new level and wanted to share it with you for the New Year. Picture of Lambeosaurus....and you all thought Jurassic Park was fiction. I like the added touch of the woodland mushrooms.
