Chenanisaurus barbaricus was described from the phosphate beds of the Ouled Abdoun basin of Morocco. Specifically the Holotype was found in Sidi Chennane couche ( bed ) III and all the teeth were Premaxillary however a isolated Maxillary tooth was found at Sidi Daoui.
