Here's a claw I've been thinking about buying. It's listed as a majungatholus claw. 8 cm long. It's from the maevarano formation. Does it look like the real deal? @Troodon

Majungasaurus is the only abelisaurid from the cretaceous of Madagascar which has led to this identification. Appears to have been possibly added to the block of matrix.

Wow, that's scary to think about. Researchers used daily growth rings in teeth and CT scans of unerupted teeth to estimate replacement rates. https://m.phys.org/news/2019-11-dinosaur-teeth-fast-sharks.html

A few questions on abelisaurids and majungasaurus crenatissimus
Pterygotus posted a topic in Questions & Answers
Hello everyone. Recently, my my friend told me that abelisaurids aren’t determinable by their teeth. Is this true? Also, recently is saw some majungasaurus crenatissimus 3/4” teeth for sale. Does anyone know the rarity of these? And also, is magungotholus the same as majungasaurus? Thank you.- 4 replies
