Hello - I’m new to the group. I recently found a large bone, the measures 26.5” long, and at the widest point measures 5.25” wide. The narrowest point measures 3” wide. The attached file has pics. Could someone please let me know if this bone may be one from a pilot whale? I was walking the beach in North Carolina, when I found this bone in the surf, which was slightly buried in the sand. thank you in advance for any help!

Hi! New Member here. I was hoping to get help with an id on a possible bone, possible fossil that I found on the coast of Carova Beach, NC on 12/31/23. On the 4x4 part of the beach right where its blocked off so the horses dont get through. I've posted a few angles and included my hand in one for reference. Please let me know if any more info would be helpful. Thanks so much!

Found this a few years back on a beach in the North Carolina Outer Banks, near Emerald Isle. Roughly 5 cm long. I think it looks similar to some fragments of mastodon tooth enamel I've seen on this site, but I'm not sure if I'm on the right track with that thinking. The "back" side (photo 3) looks less like a fossil and more like a lumpy rock, but the striated side has me wondering. Would very much appreciate ideas and input!

Three Gastropods- I would like ID confirmation. I THINK the first one (photo #1 & 2) is Astarte Concentrica. The SECOND bivalve I have no idea; I cannot find a match. (Photo 2 & 3) The THIRD one (photo5 & 6) I believe is Busycon carica.
