dinosaur man posted a topic in Questions & AnswersHi I heard there are two Judith River Formation Daspletosaur species, an earlier one and older, is this true? Because the Daspletosaurus specimen Sir William being an older species from 79 to 77.5 mya and possibly D.torosus, D.honeri or another new species being the younger Daspletosaur species from 77.5 to 75 mya. Or is it just one Daspletosaurus in the Formation?

I am new to this forum and trying to figure out what works best in posts . i have this fossil I believe that I have no idea what it is.M Rockwood noted that foramen was visible so it wasn’t just a rock. Any help would appreciated. I thought it might be from ankylosaurus spine or something of that nature but I am a rookie here with vivid imagination. Hi all, Today, I got a special present: my biggest meg tooth so far! And my second too (I'm kinda behind with them). With very nice serrations, this one is definitely one of the highest quality fossil shark teeth I have now. I think it's a "jet black" one. Oh, and the measurements are (longest tip to root distance): 8.3 cm (which is 3.3 inches). Not the biggest tooth, but still a nice one. Just wanted to share this beauty with you all Best regards, Max
