  1. Found these imprints in the island of Rhodes (Greece). The age of the cediment according to geological maps of the area is upper Pliocene to lower Pleistocene. The units on the scale are cm. I wonder if my assumptions about pine cones are correct (even considered cycad cones) having read about pine cone specimens being found on the island. Would be really happy if someone could pinpoint the species from the shape of indentations - in the first image which is the most detailed there appears to be a small hole in the center of what I suppose are the cone scales. This can also be seen in the second image, though the structure is in worse shape probably due to being exposed for a long time.

Teeth ID (solved : horse incisors)

Need help identifying these teeth/tusks (4cm long) I found in Rhodes (Greece). Since the area was a landslide caused by waters flowing over different layers of sediment (clay, marl, sandstone) the resulting mix contained both sea (shells) and land (pine cone impressions) fossils I cannot give a clear estimate of age, just place it somewhere within the upper Pliocene - lower Pleistocene boundaries.

    Tubes: Plant or Animal?

Found these tubes joined together by sediment, sand and shell particles and forming a small mound within Pleistocene marl deposits near the city of Rhodes (capital city of the island of Rhodes in Greece). Both fragments are about 10 cm in length and the diameter of the hollow parts is an average of 1-1.5 cm. In the second picture, a cross section of sorts, the tubes are half-formed/joined around a central point of sorts, while in the last pic which is a cross section of a single tube there appears to be a smaller tube within going all the way to the other end. A final observation is that the tubes diameter gradually shrinks (formed like elongated cones)

    Gastropod Shell (Solved: Xenophora)

Need help identifying this fossil. Found in Pleistocene marl deposits near the city of Rhodes (capital city of the island of Rhodes in Greece). It measures 5 cm in diameter. Unfortunately the top whorls are missing and only the last two whorls are preserved.
