Here are a few things from a recent trip to the Santa Fe river that I was not able to identify. Guesses: A/B: Since these bones are hollow, does that mean they had to belong to a large bird? C/D: smaller bird bones? E: Mastodon or gomphothere tooth enamel? F: part of a tortoise foot or maybe a sesamoid bone? G: Translucent in the light, making me wonder if this is fossilized sap or something of the sort Appreciate any help!

I found a piece of petrified wood that looks very similar to this that has sap and a couple tiny snails eating the sap from what it looks like. I polished a small section of it and it’s like a mirror graphite color. Anyway, I can post some images here soon if anyone is still around and interested to see. Really just looking to learn more about it if possible!

Good morning all, we have recently found this in a local river and are very curious as to what it could be.. we initially thought that it was petrifies wood or a cross section of a pine cone.. but we are newbies and don't really have a clue.. we have had a really good look online and still have no clue. if anyone has any suggestions we would love to know your thoughts.. its approximately 2 inchs x 1 inch.. I have taken a pic from both sides. so you can see the resin/sap/amber running all the way through.. any knews is good knews.. please help..
