I went out two more times. I drove south on the first trip, drove about 3 hours and didn't find a single fossil the whole day. It was a a great trip none the less. I saw some amazing country and went places I have never been. The second trip yesterday was a bit more fruitful on the fossil front. I drove two hours north this time. I didn't find my elusive trilobite but I found some great fossils. I found a couple cephelopods like I have never found before. I also found a few things I can't identify. I will continue to search for my complete Missouri trilobite and the bounty still stands. $50 to the forum or if you like to you if you can put me on a spot where I can find one.

Hello together, I am looking for a good readable overview about ornithischia. After enjoying "The rise and reign of the mammals" by Steve Brusatte, I got myself his "rise and fall of the dinosaurs" but found it quite theropod-heavy, not to say theropodocentric. "Horns and beaks" from the "life of the past" series sounds promising, but the reviews say its just a collection of technical papers (as "ancient marine reptiles" turned out to be, in contrast to "ancient sea reptiles", which I liked much even if it could have gone a bit more into the details) Between the highly technical books and the many popular ones for children, I am looking for a solid, readable overview, preferably illustrated, about Ornithischia. Same thing for Sauropods would also be welcome. @LordTrilobite, maybe you have a recommendation? Thanks! J

Megalodon from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany
Fossilsforever posted a topic in General Fossil Discussion
Hello all, I collect shark teeth (like so many of you =). My question: are there any collectors that have Dutch Megalodon teeth/fragments and/or Belgium/German O. megalodon? Pictures of your fossils/fossil teeth are very welcome! Kind regards, Fossilsforever -
I am not sure where to start looking, but this looked interesting. Not sure if there would be fossils in it, but like I said I have no clue. I am near Forest Falls CA.
