Last summer my youngest son found a lot of very nice fossils at Trussells Creek, Alabama (including a mosasaur and croc (I think) teeth)
(My kids are much better at fossil hunting than me! They have sharp eyes and can find tiny things!)
I wanted to share his best find of the trip- a huge partial tooth of a shell-crushing shark; it is next to a smaller one he also found.
It is 1.75" across at the widest.
I am planning to go with them next time!
