Hey all. After being discouraged the past few days looking for creeks nearby or rivers low enough I've decided to plan a beach hunt this weekend in Jacksonville. The plan is to snorkel along the shoreline and dig/sift where it looks promising. Just to get out a little further than the average person would want to look. Within the next week or two I also plan on making my way down to Venice Beach as well and do the same thing. If I did my math right I'll have about 5 solid hours of low tide hunting, more if I dont mind going a bit deeper. (Which I don't)

Would like all the details I can get. I will use a guide and would like to know your favorites and why. I have a jet ski and motorized canoe. If I choose not to use a guide (not likely) are these devices allowed? Is scuba allowed? What parts of the river are best? Are there rules, laws, restrictions? What are the river conditions now and is there an online water temp/water level gauge? What levels are best?
