I can't remember where exactly I grabbed this rock, but it resembles bone I think? Either way, it seems unusual so I was wondering if anyone here might be able to help me figure it out.

What is this? Notched and flat, found in the shallow waves in Satellite Beach, FL

Hi, I'm new here, looking those with expertise to help identify this, appreciate any help. I found this in the water, about 2 or 3 feet from shore. I think it might be a part of a turtle shell, but it also looks like a sacrum. Any ideas? It's rather heavy for it's appearance. -
Hi , my name is Matt I am new to the forum and to finding / collecting. I was searching in a creek bed and found this bone on a sand bar tucked under some grass. To touch it is chalky / clammy feeling . It is slightly polished in one area . I can scrape into it somewhat easily with my fingernail, It has the consistency of damp chalk. Can someone please help me identifying this ? thank you very much for your help, i will attach some photos including what i think is a petrified tadpole found when cracking open a segment of sedimentary rock.

Ok, so all I got is that I'm waiting for it to say feed me Seymour. Whatever it is, I love it. I apologize for the penny for size, but it's in a large "boulder" (about 40 lbs, maybe the size of a large watermelon) of mother of pearl looking stuff and is hard to access. Has lots of neat little critters in lots of nooks and boreholes. Anyway, not sure if this is anything. Its convex, and spongy feeling, kind of like stiff crepe paper. Y'all seem to have a whole lotta knowledge, thanks for letting me tap it.
