I found this in the same creekbed as my other rock. This looks like a snake head of some sort. You can even see what looks like a forked tongue coming out the mouth on both sides. If you guys could just take a look. You guys crushed me on the last one,. 1st pic is looking straight at head , 2nd it's right side face , 3rd left side.notice the tongue .it looks like it had horns on top of head

Hello all, my name is Jonah. For Spring break I am going to be near Venice, Florida for a little over a week. I'm posting this to see if anyone would like to hunt fossils in the Arcadia area, or Venice/Caspersan. I have experience in the Peace River and diving Venice. If anyone would like to perhaps join or trade information please pm me. I may be stopping in the panhandle to visit an old friend and hunt there as well. So I'll be equipped with gear for both consolidated and non materials. Perhaps meeting a stranger to share a mutual interest is strange, but heck the hard part was convincing my girlfriend, so here goes Here is where my girlfriend and I will be staying, however we will be traveling over to the Peace River in multiple localities. I also brought a two man dingy for some extra mileage in the river. I also have two shovels not pictured. Some small finds from both Arcadia and Sarasota.

Found in a freshwater spring in Florida. I was skeptical at first but after looking at it for a while I’m curious.

It was finally time to shake off the mud from the Fall hunt and head south to the Lethbridge, Alberta area and search the banks of the Oldman River for ammonites that many have fallen out. Ideally we like to walk along the ice on the edge of the bank. That didn't happen. The highway cam photos showed ice on the river, but our location was wide open. We had lots of wind; so much that the shale was blowing into our faces. About 100 kmh but we held on! Quite the day on the steep slopes and a few success. Imagine my surprise when a chuck I found opened to reveal some great colour. The next day we found our way the a 4500 year old medicine wheel, perched high above the prairie. Look closely in the background and you can see the modern era in the form of wind turbines. I trust everyone is staying safe and avoiding personal contacts and get over this Covid-19 thing.

Howdy folks! So took advantage of a beautiful friday afternoon with my girlfriend. Went for a hike on the river bed that I usually sport alone. She hasn't found any fossils/fragments before so I was more then willing to help her find her first. Came up with a couple finds, Pictures posted below. One coral and another a fragment of an Ammonite. I tried getting the best possible shot i could with my phone camera for the colours on this piece. Pictures do no justice when it comes to the array of colours this piece emits. Then for lunch we settled down for a little wiener roast by the stream. As she was finishing up her lunch, I walked to a near by eroded hill. I stumbled upon a ton of calcite crystals.. no fossils but still very unique to find around here.
