Found these two in south carolina near the Summerville and Charleston area, im fairly certain one is a tusk but if anyone could give more details on which type on elephant it could’ve been since im not familiar with the area. The second one is a horse tooth (I think) but I am a primarily florida hunter so I would like to know if its a three toed horse or another species since it looks different then the ones ive found down here.

Wondering if anyone could ID this tooth from a south carolina creek. I found it a while back during a creek walk im more or less new to fossil hunting but im hoping its a worn down Parotodus benedini tooth. thanks

Hello, my mom found this in a creek in Summerville. The formation present here is the Chandler Bridge and Ashley formations. I believe from the late oligocene. Does anyone know what it is?

New member to the forum and thank you. Me and my wife are looking into Summerville, SC to go shark tooth hunting. We have seen some places along Chandler Bridge Creek and seen a dirt road that runs all along the creek. Are there any other accesses to this creek that is public? But probably gonna check out other creeks around there and any experiences and help is much appreciated.

Hello all! First post here; please forgive me if I'm not doing something right. I found this fossil in a creek in Summervile, South Carolina and I believe it's part of a hip bone. I have no idea what it could be from and I am hoping somebody on here could help me out! Thank you so much!
