I have 2 different teeth, that I would like input on. The first one was listed as a Daspletosaurus, and was found in the Two Medicine Formation. The second tooth comes from Point Bar Deposit River bed.

Hell Creek South Dakota ID help possible trex rooted premax tooth
DSMissed posted a topic in Fossil ID
Hi there! I'm looking to get some help with several Hell Creek South Dakota fossils. Most of them I have a general idea, but I am just not experienced enough to make much more than an educated guess. So I welcome input from others. I've had this piece for several years, and apparently I have learned something because when I dug it out of the fossil box, I immediately recognized it as the root of a tooth. Upon some searching, much of it on this forum, it seems that it is most likely a Trex or nano rooted premaxillary in pretty rough shape. Unfortunately most of the serrations are either missing, or so worn that they are barely visible.
