I have recently been exploring what is know as the Jurassic coast portion of North Yorshire UK. After finding ammonites in abundance I stumbled upon what appeared to be a vertabrae looking piece of rock. Parts that are exposed like the ends of the rock appear slightly porus like fossilized marrow. Waves often erode the sides of the cliffs exposing new fossils in this area. I was wondering if anyone could help me identify if this is actually a fossil and if so what sort of prehistoric beast it could have come from and if it is not thanks for your advice and hopefully better luck next time!

Hello, I came across this piece in a rock/fossil shop during a recent road trip. It was labeled as unidentified dinosaur vertebrae - late Cretaceous 66 million years ago - from the Fort Crittenden Formation in Arizona. I bought it because it's an interestingly shaped piece - any thoughts or ideas? Neck, tail, or back? Thank you for your help.

found these fragments of vertabrea in brook bay isle of wight , how do they fit together and is my diagram on the right lines ? there are two parts one is the main vertabrea fragment and the other is two fragments possibly from the same vertabrea in the same matrix, the two items where found side by side in a landslide of wessex formation. more pictures below some help pls location;; brook bay size ; 17cm L X 13 W X 11 THICK weight 2.3 kg I cant quite figure out the top section surely it has a lot more to it like the picture ?? possible sauropod maybe because it would be just too big for iguanodon?
