Hi can anybody help me? I found this on a beach washed up in Achill Island in County Mayo, West Ireland. Its about 400mm wide and 300mm long (don't have a tape measure on holiday). There are two cilindercal channels through the bone. I know the island was famous for basking shark sightings. Also the odd fin whale and dolphins. Hope this information helps. Thanks Josh

Hello, all, Thank you for clicking into this thread and looking at the below images. I found them over the last few years, but I just realized recently that the two on the left were more similar than the one on the right. (Are they shark teeth? They’re in such bad shape, I can’t match their shape.) The fourth item beneath these three I found about two weeks ago. I would love to know what they were if anyone could identify any of them. If you need more angles or different pictures, I am happy to oblige. I very much appreciate any feedback. Thank you!

Hi all, I found these (modern) bones on one of the beaches of the Cape of Good Hope (South Africa). All three bones were found about 3-5 m apart, so there is a chance that they come from the same animal. We have a rib, a vertebrae, and a jaw (missing the teeth). Anyone have a clue on the ID? Thanks in advance, Max
