Recently went for my first fossil hunting trip at whiskey bridge on brazos River. Had a great time and found some cool stuff.

Busted open some rocks found in the bank and found what looks to be pyrite?? Not sure

Nice finds!  I surmise that the river level has finally come down.  I have a friend who spent 4 months at Texas A&M on a sabattical last spring, and she was never able to get to any river sites due to all the constant rain.
