Carboniferous fish requiring prep

Recommended Posts

Strepsodus

I found this partial coal measures fish in Scotland a couple of years ago.  I don’t have enough experience to prepare this, so I was wondering if anyone would like to prepare it for me in return for one or more fossils?  I have various fossil types available.

Thanks,

Daniel

As you can see on the photos, different parts of the fish are on different halves of the rock.  Therefore, I think it would need gluing back together.

You might want to state in your post what types of fossils you would like in return.

Hi, the fossil is not for trade, I am asking that someone prepares it for me and in return I will give that person one or more fossils.

Ah OK, I didn't catch that when I read it. Thanks.

@Strepsodus I could have a go at it for you if you're willing to cover postage to Germany and return. What kind of fossils do you have to offer in return for the prep work?
