I spent a few hours each at the North Sulphur River Texas and Post Oak Creek Texas. I had a nice variety of cretaceous finds.

@JarrodB nice finds, I didnt find a single tooth when I was at the creek the other day! But I also don't know what I'm looking for lol. I did find something similar to the far left hand center item. Is it a coral? This is the one I found below.

The Natives often dropped bottles while hunting dinosaurs in the cretaceous.  :)

I imagine the number of the bottles they must have dropped while hunting Argentinosaurus.:heartylaugh:

The coral might be Hindeasteraea  discoidea. Here is a reference for a similar coral from a similar formation in the area:

Good to hear from you buddy. NSR will always be my favorite. I try to hit POC a few times a year but it's quite the drive from my house.

Nice finds, I’m a little jealous of all the artifacts you find out there :envy: too bad that large shark tooth was broken. It was a real monster!

Every once in a great while it's not just a big rock down there!

I just recently took my first trip to POC to look for shark teeth too. I hadn't done it before and wasn't sure of the best technique(s) to use so tried a few different things. The thing that worked best for me was to just sit down and look closely then scoot over to a new spot. All my best finds were hidden right on the surface of the pebble bars!

I usually crawl with knee pads and gloves and scoot around sitting down.
