Missouri Ozark
Hello from the heart of the salem plateau. I bought 20 acres outside of Cabool, MO. The plot has a few deep cuts exposing a lot of marine fossils, minerals, and such. This specimen doesn't look like anything I've seen thus far. Please help me ID this guy. Thanks and Season's Greetings.
Fossildude19
Welcome to the Forum. This looks like a chert nodule, to me, and not a fossil. minnbuckeye
Let me stick my neck out here and say this is geologic, not a fossil. I tried hard to see cephalopod in this, but the first picture showing the cross section eliminates that possibility. Mike
