Waders ?

Northern Neck

Recommended Posts

Anyone have any they recommend? Something easy to slip on and flexible. Debating the hip waders or something simple to slip on over boots.

OK, it isn't always easy to understand everything perfectly for non-English people. I guess it depends on the depth of the water and its temperature.

Personally I prefer chest waders unless I am 100% positive I will not be in any water that could possibly go over hip waders. All it takes is for the tide to get higher than expected or you step in a hole. Especially for winter conditions.

I can only speak from Trout fishing cold rivers. Hip boots with built in boots. as said water may enter easily. Chest type waders come in nylon or Neoprene which is warmer. Use a belt if in deep water as if you fall in they can flood and pull you under. Boot type or stocking foot where you wear boots over them.  I would wear your old if you have them field boots as they fill with water. Not heard of over your boot type and so many sizes?
