It was found in São Gabriel, Rio Grande do Sul, to the extreme south of Brazil. grandpa Posted January 3, 2020 Share Posted January 3, 2020 Welcome to TFF from Austin, Tx. I believe this to be geological in origin, not a fossil. It appears to be a botryoidal chalcedony specimen with quartz filled cavities showing (possibly more internal cavities not exposed, i.e. geode structure).
