I got one of these tektites almost 20 years ago in Vietnam and have been intrigued by the mystery of this 800,000 year old impact event since. This type of tektites has been found in Antarctica, Australia, and Asia. Now scientists may have found the impact crater hiding under large Laotian lava lake.
