Love the picture of the kangaroo under the house!

I'm curious to see how these crabs are gonna turn out too :)

That looks like a great place to holiday!!!  Congratulations on finding the crabs and other goodies!!!  And, speaking of which, I'd love to see the cephalopods you found when you find the time to photograph them :)

Now that's my idea of a holiday. Those crab finds look intriguing. Would love to see more. Congratulations and thanks for sharing your experience.

Skye, I've been meaning to ask.  How have you two been faring with the wildfires down there?

I'll put up a mess of photos once we get back :) The cephalopods aren't as nice-most have weathered out already.

We're safe, just a lot of dust and smoke in the air some days.

Filled up on bacon, eggs, and toast again and headed back out :)

I fear photos of the 1800's-style cabin we are staying in has misled you guys....I'm not sure you can call 15,000 acres of this paradise:

I have dust in my hair, dust on my legs, and dust where dust shouldn't be.

Dust indeed. I look like I’ve got a tan until after taking a rinse

AMAZING haul!!!  That giant nautiloid is awesome, but so are the ammonites and bivalves!  Congrats on a great hunt :dinothumb:

Your haul would equate to five years or more of prepping work for me.  What a wonderful way to spend those five year though!  Congratulations.
