Some of my latest finds from the Wealden strata of Sussex (135 MYA approx).  Bexhill and Hastings.   Hope collecting is going well for everyone.

Quite rare and a very nice specimen of a  Sauropod pes fossil footcast.

20cm.

Nice curved gaff claw toe.Lateral view.

Bexhill and Hastings beaches are good for Dinosaur and fish fossils. Usually sea worn but not always ! Anyway, good to see there are some Dino fans on here.

A wonderfully rich bone bed nodule from Hastings. Look forwards to exploring this one ! Hopefully some Dino teeth inside........

Found this morning, a huge Pterosaur pes,  natural three dimensional cast !

Measures over 25 cm long, !   Which is substantially larger than the similar aged large Ichnite fossil of the Pterosaur  Purbeckopus from Dorset, (which i think is considered representing the largest pterosaur for this geological time period, measures 18cm ).

The profile has a nice triangular delineation, and bulbous pads and a nice pointy heel is preserved.  Four digits, (the left is curving outward to the left in the image) .

Another Ptero footcast which i found a few years ago at Hastings. This one much smaller than the above find.

Thanks. It was  nice to get my gorgeous lady into this fossil hunting. She spotted this small dino footcast last summer. Also found a small piece of Pterosaur wing bone that same day
