I found this jaw piece in a dry river bed in austin texas on a family members land.  The bone is completely fossilized. Any ideas what it could be?

It seems a canid lower right mandible to me, those are pretty big premolars, at the beginning I thought it was a hyena but hyaenid never arrived in USA (except for chasmaporthetes)

A possibility is also mustelidae, but without knowing how big is that is difficult to say
