Fossil found on North Wales UK beach

Looks like a solitary rugose 'horn' coral to me. 

Probably Lower Carboniferous in age from that region.

I'm half Welsh and spent many a happy day studying the geology of Snowdonia.

Thanks very much for your help and information. I did come across rugose corals while I was googling, but they all seemed to have obvious 'spokes' at the top going towards the centre, so I thought this could possibly be something different.

It's a beautiful and fascinating area isn't it. I'm very lucky to live in Llandudno! ☺️
