The Tully Plushie

While on a field trip to the Field Museum in Chicago I spotted this, and just couldn't pass up the opportunity to give my son a stuffed animal of an animal which I have an actual fossil of.  Behold, the Tully Plushie.

Trying to recreate my Tully fossil.  But I oriented the eye bar the wrong way.5e28be353b821_tullyplush.jpg.4c7ce581fe183cd0bc04a2f25c9c3c76.jpg

Well when he first got it he smiled and said "dinosaur"  (he's one and a half)

I'm taking that as he's in the it's a vertebtate camp ;)

Buying a plushie may be the only way I ever get a Tully. ;)

The Field Museum has always been my favorite. I visited a couple times a month with my grandfather when I was a kid. There was a time when I knew every exhibit and read every display. I could tell when anything changed in the entire museum and probably knew it better than the curators. :)

Cheers.
