Heavy slab with a trace fossil

The slab has its 4 sides the same as I showed here. It shines a lot on the sides. Curious about that trace on it. Is it geology or fossil?5e2a0333905cb_ScreenShot2020-01-23at2_48_29PM.png.022b9185e6b7419d98e9ceb95dbe73b9.png

I can't name the mineral, but it's geology.

Travertine?

Mark.

Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!

The silicate version in a way, maybe.

Actually what comes to mind is minerals that I see forming in association with a piece of agate that I collected in South Dakota.

Interesting find!
