Fossil-Collecter Posted January 24, 2020 Share Posted January 24, 2020 I found this vertebra in Bartow county Florida along with some other mammal Pleistocene fossils. It was found in close proximity to some deer antler pieces and Mastodon incisor pieces. I found an almost identical vertebra online that said that it was a giant ground sloth vertebrae. The piece is heavily mineralized. Any opinions on this vertebra would be greatly appreciated.
