Possible mammal tooth of some kind?

At first I thought it was the tip of a rib, but I see little swirls of enamel inside like a horse - though this doesn't look like the couple of horse teeth I've found. Perhaps another mammal of some kind?

Myrtle Beach.

My guess is Equus  (horse) incisor

Thanks Peat. Following your guess I looked up photos and found this one. Does look alot like mine is the top of this one. I know it's just a fragment, but it's so much fun to pick up something other than shark's teeth on the beach :)

Absolutely agree - it's fun to find  identifiable fossils on the beach that aren't sharks teeth (or nondescript bone fragments).
