Any idea which dinosaur does this claw belong to?

Seller thinks most likely to a T-rex. Found near the Hell Creek Formation.

I don't believe this is fossil at all, rather geologic in nature, like banded chert.

Wow if they think this is a dinosaur claw, i would avoid that seller.

He certainly is selling a large amount of non-fossil material, sadly.

I needed a laugh, so I brought up our favorite auction site and searched "fossil dinosaur head" again. I'm smiling now.  Happens every time. I like all the "dinosaur egg with embryo" too. 

 

Don't trust anything you read on a public auction site. There's people selling common beach pebbles for thousands of dollars, claiming they are eggs or skulls. Definitely post anything you're thinking of purchasing here BEFORE you spend any money. We are happy to help with ID of the item.
