hndmarshall
I found this on my walk through the park here on the gravel drive... Location West of Houston Texas The gravel came from a deposit from the Brazos River Its odd appearance made me pick it up...what in the heck is it though?? Plantguy
Not sure as it appears to be pretty badly/worn. Interesting banding/rings and and almost knobby texture/could be just weathering? Not sure if its even organic. Looks like 3 shots of the same side? any clues from views of other sides/angles? If fossil, my first gut reaction was a really beat up echy or possibly an end section thru a belemnite....both wild guesses at this point without further inspection/clues. Hoping someone else or one of your locals have some ideas...I like it.... Regards, Chris
