Moiss27
I’m going to post a few pictures I have of what I think are fossils, actually pretty sure they are and let me know what you think. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated. h Edited February 3, 2020 by Moiss27 Bad picture

Moiss27
Let me post more pictures, you can see the teeth, jaw outline, eye sockets where there is bone. It’s also the spot I found it, and the other things I found in this spot that shouldn’t be there like lava rock, other fossils, even kimberlite rock. It might sound crazy but I’m pretty sure I found a kimberlite pipe in NJ if anyone is familiar with those. I found it near the coast where a big quarry was dug, so you’re essentially below sea level in this pit. There’s a whole dinosaur laying on the ground buried in Magma in this spot. My theory is Pangea, we were attached to Africa at one moment in time and where are all the diamonds and kimberlite pipes found? So why not NJ
Fossildude19
I don't believe this is a fossil in any way. There is no bilateral symmetry. Not sure other photos would sway me the other way. Oh, and Northern Africa was connected to the North Eastern US at one time. As far as the "dinosaur covered in magma", ... extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. 5 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." Moiss27
Here are some other pictures from the same area, I’ll post more but you can see it’s a jaw line, nostril, eye socket, and looks like bone in all the crevices.
Moiss27
Here are some more pictures, and the one picture is lava rock, please tell me how I would find lava rock In NJ. There’s been kimberlite rock found there, gem stones, all kinds of quartz. My theory is it was a kimberlite pipe, and whatever killed the animals there was extremely hot. What happens if an animal dies in extreme heat, is it calcifies because I’m not an idiot. I’m an environmental scientist who’s been digging in the dirt for 25 years as a career and never came across stuff like this. I know it’s hard to believe but with all the clues there, it’s hard to say it’s all just nothing
Pemphix
Nice rocks - but no fossils at all imho. Not seeing any obvious volcanic rocks here - but photos are way to small... I respect theorys - but i myself stay with hard (scientific) facts. From this point of view, i cannot follow your theory, cause the scientific facts are against your theory - sorry...

There is nothing here that morphologically suggests jawline, nostrils, or eye sockets. There is no bilateral symmetry. There is no bone texture. As someone who claims to be an environmental scientist, I'm sure you are familiar with the empirical method and how jumping to declarative statements without sufficient evidence and rigorous testing is not how science is done. In fact, your aim should be to place these items under the strongest scrutiny in order to falsify any preliminary claims. Extraordinary claims, such as yours, will require extraordinary evidence. 2 ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer

fifbrindacier
Hi, the probability to find a fossil of an animal killed by extreme heat is improbable and, however, wouldn't be in that state of preservation because the bones burn easily. I also don't see the features that can be found on skulls. I agree to say that what you have here is a nice piece of quartzite. It's a pareildolia, like the ones in that post : "On ne voit bien que par le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux."
