Metamorphic rock or metamorphic fossil?

Recommended Posts

Found this formation on the bank of the Dnieper River, Ukraine, Kherson region. Sizes: 73mm length and 32mm width.
 Composition: the surface layer consists of steatite; the next layer is similar in color to the bone, has many small (less sand)
 and a little medium-sized pores,  a hardness of about 4,5-5, actively foams under the action  of hydrochloric acid;
the inner layer of blue material has a dense structure similar to flint or chalcedony with impurities, chalcedony does not scratch.
Can it be hidrotermal metamorphic fossil, or simply geology formation?

Water worn piece of Sediment ("pebble"). May contain some fossil (?bone).

Definitely no metamorphic process imho.

The middle layer, which may be bone, may not have metamorphosis, but the outer steatite - has (steatite - metamorphic rock).
Also, the inner blue silicon layer contains many impurities in the form of smaller, darker particles, as is sometimes the case with chalcedony
 (this may have been the substitution of the primary organic material or simply filling the cavity with already contaminated material).

My vote is for geologic formation.
