Dbd9
Hello from Southern Oregon. Trying to figure out if this is a fossil and If so what type it is. I found this walking along the Rogue River just past Grants Pass. It's only about 4'' in length. Have more pics upon request. Anyone that can identify please help. Thanks so much Duane. Welcome to the forum! I don’t live too terribly far from you. I love the jet boat tours down the Rouge. And yes, more pictures please.

Spoons
Could you include a scale bar in the photos? Even a coin would do the trick.

It is often said here that coins are not a good scale. Only Americans know the size of their coins and we are a largely international forum. Nothing will ever be worth a real rule or cm / inch. Dbd9
Well I'm a rock hound by nature and judging by the feel and looks I would say no. In hand you can see maybe frog style leg joint and other features. I'm not a fossil expert by any means and appreciate any answers thank you.
