Hello from Southern Oregon. Trying to figure out if this is a fossil and If so what type it is. I found this walking along the Rogue River just past Grants Pass. It's only about 4'' in length. Have more pics upon request. Anyone that can identify please help.

I don’t live too terribly far from you. I love the jet boat tours down the Rouge. And yes, more pictures please.

NO ! It is often said here that coins are not a good scale. Only Americans know the size of their coins and we are a largely international forum. Nothing will ever be worth a real rule or cm / inch.

Well I'm a rock hound by nature and judging by the feel and looks I would say no. In hand you can see maybe frog style leg joint and other features. I'm not a fossil expert by any means and appreciate any answers thank you.
