MarcoX
Just got an offer for this 5 Megs. Do they look suspicious? I don`t have any experience with Megs from this location. Thanks
Huntonia
I think they're all real but these may have some restoration. Something just looks a bit off to me about the roots of a few of these teeth. Wait for some more opinions.
Pterygotus
I agree that the crowns looks real but the roots look dodgy but I’m no expert . Edited February 11, 2020 by Pterygotus

bcfossilcollector
Hi @MarcoX the two last pictures you posted look to be Indonesian megs especially the second last picture. Most of the Indonesian megs I’ve seen are heavily damaged. These examples are especially nice in my opinion. The colour of the second to last meg is very similar to a Meg I have from that region. I can post a better photo if necessary.
bcfossilcollector
I forgot to mention the tooth I posted is from the Indonesian isle of Sumatra.
MarcoX
Thanks all for you feedback. I`m not really sure, if there`s no restoration at the roots, especially since I found this thread: I think I will sleep over it before purchasing... Kurufossils
@MarcoX all the roots definitely look very restored/fabricated and the biggest tooth may also have restoration on the blade as well, if you dont mind that level of work and got a really good deal as well safe way to pay then go for it. (The blueish two inch one looks to have the most natural root)
