Trip to the Triassic

Thats a beautiful quarry and some great finds too! Congrats!

The bone on the plate with the crinoids seems to be a vertebra. Nice piece. 

I am not sure about the other pieces. More detailed pictures would be great...

There are many quarries in my area, but none (that I have found) allow individuals to collect. Some will allow groups every so often.

 

Looks like you have found a nice spot to hunt. Great finds!

Beautiful area thanks for the tour and seeing those cool fossils.  Acess pretty easy to those quarries on weekends

Thanks - I just wish it was a little bigger  It would be easier to take a good picture of it.

Nice thread as ever. Cool finds too.

 

The landscape with water is a wonderful photograph.  It is very hard to capture a moment with landscapes photos, this one does.

Get yourself  a clip on macro  lens , really cheep and small enough to be use in the field .

Thanks, Mon  I liked them too and that's why I dragged the slab (which weighs fore sure more than 3 kg) back to the car
