I was wondering that the madagascan jurassic clams and cretaceous cockscomb oysters from my collection did not have a comprehensive label,I wanted to ask you what they were..

Here are a few photos online:

I am not sure if the oysters are RASTELLUM CARINATUM....

they look a lot like other fossil cockscomb oysters.

Pictures of your fossils would be necessary, to help with Identification.

It wasn't really a link, but a tag to notify me of the topic so that I can take a look at your topic. ;)

Rastellum carinatum and the shells in your two links are 3 completely different species... Which makes it quite hard to have an idea what you're talking about. Therefore pictures of your specimens are required in order to provide correct information for your shells. I can't help unless I can see what shells you have.

If you don't know how to transfer photos from your camera to the computer, I suggest looking at the instructions manual that came with the camera, I'm sure it's explained there somewhere. Otherwise you can also google it. Another way you can post your pictures is by taking them with your smartphone (if it has a camera), then sending those to your computer (via email for example) or directly posting those pictures onto this topic (you can access The Fossil Forum from your phone too).

I look forward to seeing your specimens :)

Oops , sorry,I cannot paste plain text...

I would suggest not posting until you have your photos on your computer, as we can't help ID when we don't know what you have.

There should be nothing preventing you from pasting or uploading photos.
