Ammonites from Himalaya

These two ammonite specimens are said to be Haplophylloceras from Himalaya.  The smaller one is 8cm and the bigger one is 11cm.  Are they really Happlophylloceras?

Could be.

Is there a photo of the venter?

Haplophylloceras has a very distinctive v shape to the ribs as they run over it.

These photos are of the bigger ammonite.  It is 11cm in diameter, I suppose it is rather big for this species?

Hmmm.

And the bifurcation nearer the living chamber looks wrong too.

There are probably other species that I'm unaware of, but it doesn't look like the Haplophylloceras that I know.
