dinosaur man

Recommended Posts

Along with the Daspletosaurus and Alberta fossils I have been looking at in trying to get. I’ve have also been looking at some European Dinosaur fossils to get. I have found this and am wondering if it’s a IGUANODON vertebra?, or another animal? It’s from the Isle of Wight, England. Thank you!!

I think it could be, i am not familiar with Iguanodon fossils but i did find this picture of an isolated vertebra from the Isle of Wight assigned to Iguanodon Sp for comparison.

Iguanodon is the most common dinosaur found in the area. However the vertebrae looks quite deformed so it may be difficult to assign a certain species. :)

That's vertebra, vertebrae is plural

Here are some images you can compare against.  Centrums can be difficult to assign
