Quality Cretaceous Coprolite!

I wanted to show off this spectacular Cretaceous coprolite I found at the North Sulhpur River Texas my last hunt.

Very cool, Jarrod.

Those are much different looking than you usually see.

I see what may be inclusions - anything recognizable?

I have quite a few like this from the North Sulphur River. Most have fins and bones in them. I have a few you can still see little undigested fish verts.

Tim, here's a nice example of a piece I found full of fish bones. I think most of the larger hand size ones are most likely mosasaur.

As a kid i picked up a Nice rock one winter, the next Day however it had thawed and turned out to be something entirely different... :shrug:
