Today I went to Mentone, Victoria (Australia/Down Under) and found what I think + hope to be marine fossil specimens. I was hoping to get your views on whether they are real or pseudofossils. I have looked at information regarding fossils from the nearby Beaumaris fossil site but am unsure. Any help is appreciated! Huntonia Posted February 23, 2020 Share Posted February 23, 2020 Agreed. Fossils should have continous consistent shaping with at least some sort of relative symmetry. Here's a picture of a whale ear bone, notice the sharp continuous shaping, that's what you're looking for. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
