Claw ID help


fossil of Egypt

Hi all 
 I hope you can identify this stone I found today. petrified wood is predominant in my location I can easily distinguish it , but this stone looks different . many thanks in advance

ok , I agree it is not a claw  , let me guess ( imagine ) that : it is a well preserved intact toe of an ancient bird ( or dinosaur ) , I mean bone not exposed and the keratin tissue still covering the toe .
It is just an imagination , could be wrong . I used to make mistakes .

The tiny circular fractures suggest it is a piece of flint or chert.

It is most definitely not an entire fossilized toe. Soft tissue doesn't preserve that way.

yes , it is a pseudofossil , a newbie like me could imagine it is a fossil .
